GEM ISLAND RESORT & SPA @ 13/02/10 - 15/02/10

it was a short trip --3days/2nite..a short trip but a great place to relax. our first visit to Gem island was back in Yr 2008, when we were there we kept saying we have to come back..the thought of coming back to this precious island keep coming into our mind..calling..huhu..of coz we cant go during the monsoon season.. nak karam?? lagipun resort close from November - January. they srart operating quite early this year --according to the Manager, they usually open in Mac.

kenapa kami suka ke PULAU GEMIA dan tidak ke PULAU KAPAS..huhu.. tentu la sebab

1) Pulau Gemia adalah sebuah Private island.. huhu..privacy sikit..tk ramai orang..khenn..

2) pastu kalo naik boat tak lama dari mainland..only about 20-15 minutes..(jika ke pulau perhentian/pulau redang/pulau lang tengah..1jam perjalanan atas boat) kalo kena time ombak besar..pening.. loya.. berdebar..suma ada..

3) walaopun pulau gemia kecik..tapi kemudahan hotel..amat2lah memuaskan..the room is clean and nice, each watervilla is facing sea..memang kagum la permandangan dari balcony..malam2 nak tidur dibuai dengan bunyi ombak...dusshhh...eh kuat tau ombak kat sini.. kalo musim monsoon..tercabut2 gak la jeti2/papan2 kat pulau tu..tapi bilik maintain lar..

4) makanan... suma fresh & sedap..pandai la resort ni pilih chef..pandai masak!!
nak makanan seafood..suma fresh-fresh..

5) aktiviti - kayak, snokerling, main2 kat pantai, tangkap gambar..atau just rilexxxx aje tengok ombak --tengok laut yang membiru..menghijau..memang rilexxx..
nak tgk coral..tk payah nak naik boat..kat depan2 resort ni pun leh tengok..

6)memang best lar.. tak payah gi jauh2 pulau gemia dah ada suma.. pantai cantik, bersih, staff friendly, makanan sedap...highly recommended..

we took a boat that leaves at 8.30AM..we reached Gem Island by 9.00Am after stop by at Kapas Island.. Check in to room..smooth & easy.. we had a welcome drink..there were another family that arrives together at the same time .. the resort was fully book for the weekend..

lepas check in we go straight to our room for ..of coz rest & nap.. hubby need to take a nap since he drove all the way the nite before.. kesian ayang... muaaaahhhh..for u..

sedar2 dah pukul 2 ptg..huhu..seriusly sleeping..
we had a light lunch that we bring from home..lepas makan..lepak2 kejap..and lepas tu..beach time.. yeayyy...

the whole island will be out of electricity for 2 hours after lunch..around 3-5PM. Well, it wasn't a big deal cuz we were busy snorkelling or playing at the beach during that time..
