TRIP TO PHUKET - 1ST DAY - 18/04/2010 (SUNDAY)

we decided to make an oversea trip this year during the Matta travelling fair 2010 that is to Phuket. offerred by Firefly for 4days/3 nights at RM399 per person inclusive of airtickets & lodging (4star hotel). apa lagi considering the price is exceptionally cheap, we took it. the date is from 18/04/2010 - 21/04/2010


tak pernah pegi - its our 1st time to Phuket. Phuket is an island situated in the south of Thailand. Very famous among the foreign tourist for their vibrant nightlife ..paham2 aje lar..

1st day - Sunday 18/04/2010

At the airport - we left home quite early to catch Airasia flight to Penang - Firefly flight to Phuket depart from Penang ... tu lerr... we can drive to Penang which will be more fun, tapi cost sama plus penat sikit la drive -- so we decide to take a flight.

sampai airport terus cari taxi at airport to bring us to our hotel which situated at Karon beach (1 hour drive from airport) mcm jahanam jauh..sampai sana pandai2 lar cari Phuket map .. supaya you know your whereabouts.. (also banyak ulat kat airport so kena la becareful - look for airport taxi sign and straight make payment - the taxi will bring you to hotel)

Karon beach is where the hotel we are staying situated @ Phuket Orchid Resort & SPA. Karon beach is the second largest of Phuket's tourist beaches, some 20 kilometres from town. Large resort complexes line the road behind of the shoreline, but the long, broad beach itself has no development.

The sand is very white, and squeaks audibly when walked upon. There are plenty of restaurants (memang banyak tapi non halal) and tourist stores right across the street from the beach. The southern point has a fine coral reef stretching toward Kata and Bu Island. There is also its sister beach Karon Noi.

Since we all sampai noon, we ask the taxi man to stop over at any muslim restaurant which is along the way to the hotel - so taxi man tadi, nama dia Ah Ree (ikut spelling yg dia kasi) who is by the way also a muslim - bawa kami ke satu restaurant nama nya Phong Pang Restaurant.. tengok semcm aje..bila tanya kat crew restaurant katanya ada 2 separate kitchen for muslim & non muslim.. so syukur la..halal..

dah sampai hotelnya... aduhhh penattt...




the hotel situated at Karon Beach and takes like 5 minute walk to the beach tapi jauhhhhhhhhhhh sangat to Phuket City or Patong Beach.. iaitu tempat2 yg best kat Phuket but if you like to be in beach area.. memang dah ok sangat this hotel. the resort has superb swimming pool .. sesuai untuk little boy

the day were spent at the resort pool & beach area

now we are the beach... high tide..ombak sangat kuatttt... plus ssaaaangggaaaatttt panas, even at 6pm ..

tak berani nak mandi laut....tapi mandi lar jugak... main2..
