HSG, IUI, IVF -?!?!

this weekend we planning to go to Penang..alkisahnya nak stay kat HRC, rooms are full on Sat 30/01, available only from Sunday, 31/01 - 1 night, so 1 night aje takleh lelebih, we just want to stay for the facilities, the hip & trendy room and the huge swimming pool..wuuuuhuuu tak sabar ..tak sabar.. lucky that next monday, 1/2/10 is a public holiday for kuala lumpur.. this will be our 1st holiday year 2010.

wow.. where has the week gone. its going to be end of January for a this new year.. apa yang berfaedah telah aku lakukan sepanjang bulan Jan 2010 , huhu..cuma mengupdate buku ASB update je kerrr ..huahuahua..

other plan this year would be trying to conceive, we thought it would be easy :-), we'd put so much effort into getting pregnant over the last couple of years until fading hopes, i also thought I should have no trouble conceiving. Recently i went for a new round of check up, called HSG. HSG is an X-ray test that examines the inside of uterus and fallopian tubes and the surrounding area where i have been diagnose with a tubal blockage...kesian kan.. gigih je selama nih..hehe..yes..if the fallopian tubes are blocked, a woman will not be able to get pregnant, because the egg can’t meet the sperm, anyway, according to my gyne after seeing the xray, my fallopian tubes are not totally blocked..syukur Alhamdulillah.. still ada hope ..

so the next steps after determine that, is working towards conceive, my gyne is recommending IUI and if that cycle fails, then moving onto IVF would be recommended.for me it’s probably best to move straight to IVF but gyne said that they normally go for IUI in most cases first, yes all this treatment comes with high cost - and it is true that IUI is less expensive than IVF, and its lower cost is part of what makes IUI their (doctors)1st choice, but chances of pregnant with IVF is higher. our 1st attempt for IUI begin this month on my recent mensus, IUI with clomid and menapur. sesape yang berada dalam keadaan aku aje yang tahu term-term nih.

yes doing all this treatment is truly overwhelmed, from the schedule of meeting up with your gyne (time comsuming), ultrasounds (the most uneasy part),injections and so on can have you feeling very very fragile. sangat-sangat-sangat menguji keimanan seseorang.
