BERBUKA PUASA @ ANCASA HOTEL 26/08/10

how's ur puasa been so far.. for myself time flies so fast that i don't even realize it has been nearly two weeks we've been fasting.. kan.. syukur2..

talk about fasting, one would also talk about breaking of fast, normally during the weekday i usually break my fast at home with my maid & little boy & occasionally with my bff miss hunny. the weekends will be with hubby & my family or my inlaws.. and this year I had the chance of breaking fast with my colleagues ..

kali ni berbuka puasa bersama collegues @ Ancasa Hotel Kuala Lumpur. It is also a 2 in 1 celebration - to bid farewell for our SM as well as the transfer of some members to another department.

the foods are fantastic.. memang worth paying for RM49++.. and Ancasa is one of the certified halal restaurant on buffet ramadhan

BERBUKA PUASA @ HILTON SENTRAL KL 23/08/10

ini adalah kali kedua aku berbuka puasa bersama teman pejabat.. kali ini di hotel hilton sentral.. wah .. kelas hotel 5 star..company yang belanja ..kalo nak pegi sendiri tak berbaloi rasanya baik pi beli baju kat zara ke lagi berpekdah.. hehe

anyway, i enjoyed the time spent with all my subordinates.. today the VP of my dept is taking the Non executive staff for buka puasa including the secretaries....

so bergambar sakan la aku bersama kawan2..hehe..tak da keje lain..

the selection of food -- too much too eat at a short period of time.. yang penting air sirap selasih dia sedaaaaaaaaaaapp sangat..

that's about it..there will be another session of berbuka puasa this week, its a 2 in 1 celebration -- berbuka and bid farewell of one of our SM in the dept.

it was just nice for a one day getaway from your normal weekend.. a nite stay at your own town right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city and just a distance away from KLCC twin towers, the Impiana KLCC Hotel & Spa. thanks to Miss Hunny for the free nite voucher from Orient rewards membership. so sesiapa yg beli orient rewards membership are eligible for 1 complimentary nite at this standard 4 star hotel, and with additional voucher to upgrade from superior room to deluxe room.

and it has the best infinity pool with view over the twin tower..tapi sayang ada ongoing construction at the opposite side fr another new hotel "Grand Hyatt" , since it's free so we just enjoy it to the fullest..

since its a fasting month, we cant swim and soon after we were off jalan2 like tourist to KLCC .. since the hotel is also doing some upgrading work, the car park was quite far at the traders hotel, which is actually across the road besides the convention center but the hotel provides a shuttle service from hotel to the car park and the surrounding areas.

how's your puasa my dear frens.. dah masuk 12 hari kita berpuasa.. so far aku masih diberi Allah kesihatan yang baik untuk meneruskan ibadah, walaupun aku tak berkesempatan nak melakukan terawih sekerap sebyk mungkin, aku tetap berazam dan berniat untuk melakukankannya Insyallah.. yg penting niat..

back to the subject.. tema baju raya tahun ini adalah caftan and color we choose this year is grey color.. fuh baru berapa hari puasa..dah sebuk nak cari idea for baju raya.. hehe..no harm right..

anyway, fabrik pilihan masih chiffon dan telah dihantar ke kedai untuk tempahan, semoga rekaan yang dipilih menjadi kenyataan..kata cina tuh boleh..suma saya boleh buat..you pilih saja apa fashion you mau.. hehe..aku pun selak lak segala majalah yang ada kat kedai cina tuh tuk rekaan kaftan..

but as you've seen a kaftan before, the style is very simple yet very elegant if you are able to carry it well. you need to know what to wear and how to wear it.. anyway, i just have to wait & see how it turn out and of coz I would loveeee the kaftan to go along with a nice new shoe and gorgeous new clutch.. (Insyallah kalau kewangan mengizinkann)

Bulan Ramadan telah tiba lagi...

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating and drinking from dawn until sunset. Fasting is intended to teach Muslims about patience, humility, and spirituality. It is a time for Muslims to fast for the sake of Allah and to offer more prayer than usual.

During Ramadan, Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance and help in refraining from everyday evils, and try to purify themselves through self-restraint and good deeds. As compared to the solar calendar, the dates of Ramadan vary, moving backwards about eleven days each year depending on the moon.

Muslims believe Ramadan to be an auspicious month for the revelations of God to humankind, being the month in which the first verses of the Qur'an were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.
