LANGKAWI - 2ND DAY - 1/05/10

we slept like a baby yesterday nite due to tiredness .. so bangun pagi, me & hubby gi breakfast berdua.. while hani & little boy still sleeping ..we take turn for breaky since its only for 2 person per room.. its ok ..boleh tapau..hehe.. after breakfast kita siap2 nak keluar jalan jalan around langkawi island..

1st stop - Langkawi cable car (situated next to the resort)

Cable car is one of the latest tourist attraction in langkawi..since we've taken the ride before we are not going for it again this time..so kita jalan2 aje kat oriental village.. for 1st timer, the cable car provides excellent panoramic views of Langkawi...so do not miss..

tak amik gambar banyak pun...sebab panassss sangattt..tk da mood...so after sight seeing at the oriental village and we buy nothing, we off to cenang beach, one of langkawi's best beach area and one of the attraction here is the Underwater World - we've been inside this place before many years back but this time hubby wants to take little boy in (since other places suits only for the adult) so for little boy we bring him to see the other side of word "the underwater world"

only hubby & little boy went in, me & hani we just hang around at the duty free mall and walking along the row of shops in cenang beach..banyak dah kedai sekarang..

hubby kata Underwater World now looks better compared to many years back..there are many collections of fish and bigger fish tank and there are also adorable penguins doing performance.

it was noon when they finish with the underwater world visit..sangat sangat lapar..so we off to one of the best thai food restaurant in Kuah city -- Wan Thai -- sampai2 dah nak dekat 2.30PM -- waitress kata restaurant kitchen is close and will open back at 6PM..punya la frust..so kalo nak makan tengahari datang awal..huhu..buat terliur aje nak makan kat sini.. so we look around for another restaurant that serves thai food..and found it in Samudra Mall..

another place that we visit that day was air hangat village (hots prings), before that ingat nak stop by kat Galeri Perdana, saje nak tunjuk kat Hani all these impressive collection of state gifts and awards presented to our last Prime Minister Dr Mahathir, tapi tak sempat..we headed to the hot springs village aje.. tapi tak amik gambar.. the place does not look very impressive, it look more like an abandone project, but the hot spring is still there.. panas lagi..the four of us soak in our tired feet in one of the pools for relaxation..fuhh..memang nice..

last but not least we head to pantai tanjung rhu to watch the sunset.. facinating view..

lepas matahari terbenam kita balik ke pantai kok..balik ke hotel.. dinner kat nearby retaurant (sebelah Mutiara Hotel).. ingat lepas dinner nak keluar lagi..tapi tak jadi..lepas mandi & solat, apa lagi...tidurr..

LANGKAWI TRIP..

a trip from 30/04/10 to 2/05/10 travelling to Langkawi by car..best2 sebab plan mengejut, very exciting plus kali ni pegi ngan member baik..cik hani ..janji nak pick hani pukul 6 pagi terlajak ke pukul 6.30 pagi ..lepas amik hani gerak ke highway plus ..terruss sampai ke kuala perlis -- harus la kitorang stop 2/3 kali--mandi la, minum kopi la..gi toilet la..sampai kuala perlis kul 12.30, naik ferry kul 1pm..sampai Langkawi kul.2.30pm..masa on the way ke langkawi cuba call hotel to book - nasib la ada bilik..we managed to book 1 room in Berjaya Langkawi..

akhirnya sampai ...

lupa nak amik gambar kereta sewa kitorang dapat ..cantik sangat for rm120 per day..Suzuki swift 4 doors baru..perfect !!

so 1st day we just stay at the hotel, menikmati the resort...

berjaya langkawi resort & spa is a 5 star hotel with many great facilities, we were so lucky to be able to get a room. sebelum pegi ada gak check many resort are already fully booked..due to public holiday on 1/05..for labour day..we were given a deluxe chalet up at the hill , kata front desk the room is facing sea which gets me really excited however when we reached the room....memang ler mengadap laut tapi it was quite far from the beach, tak nampak lansung, nampak forest aje..

kat sini nak ke bilik kena naik shuttle bus, actually ..very troublesome..sebab nak kena tunggu..then the bus will take u around to the huge resort before reaching your room, if there's other people taking the same bus.. sebab bilik masing2 jauh2..naik turun bukit agak menyeramkan..looks like the drivers are also very well trained and experienced..selamba jek corner ker reverse ker..walaupun jalan sempit..seriousss...

patutnya tak complain lar kan dah duduk 5 star hotel..hehehe..bersyukur aje lah apa yang ada..

so petang nya kami hanya di resort, at the pool & beach..

nice -- excellent swimming pool.. little boy showed his skills to hani.. well done my boy!!tak sia-sia mama hantar kelas swimming..

what can i say.....we jussssstt loveeeeee being in the water :-)))

tonight we dine at this ikan bakar restaurant, very the famous one in Pantai Cenang, it is Restoran Hj Ramli ikan bakar.. sedapp.. Pantai Cenang is one of the hotspot beach area..mesti pegi..

balik dah penat..so apa lagi tidurrr...........
