LAST DAY -- BYEE JOHOR

Day 3

we were very extausted and tired due to the previous day trip and little boy wakes us up as early as 9am. first we ignore him but he was adamant to go down, screaming and shouting to go out of the room, lastly hubby let him out and drag his exhausted body to downstairs, i've smell from the room jai is making breakfast, nasigoreng bau semerbak.. tapi i still hardy can open my eyes at that time, i continue sleeping until 10.30.

by noon we are ready to leave Johor for KL but we need to stop by at Batu Pahat - liz need to handover something to student in UTM Johor fr doing the survey/reseach job for her, we had lunch by 2pm at a restaurant serving NASI BERYANI, memula cari this restaurant name NASI BERYANI POWER but already close due to finish (serious power kedai tu) but this restaurant where we had lunch is also superb gile. One should never miss taking this cuisine from Johor otherwise they are missing something in their life..haha..

I am down with headache and already getting some sinus problem so, not in mood taking photo, sleep on & off trought out journey. We arrive home sweet home safelyby 10.00PM. We love Johor and Singapore will visit again next year. To Jai & Ijal, we thank you with all our hearts for the kind welcome, for the great courtesy, for the generous hospitality, which you have shown to us. Muahhhhhhhhhh..

SINGAPORE TRIP

Day 2

Venue : Singapore

We leave for singapore when everyone is ready by 12ish, past the immigration boarder with no problem suma muka baik jek ok…mana ada mcm penyagak ke kan.. haha..

Using the second link straight to Ghim Moh road to my husband’s uncle place. He is my MIL’s brother who is a permanent resident of Singapore. A very good hearted and nicest person I’ve known. He never failed to entertain and shower us with his love and kindness whenever we visited his place.

You can never leave Singapore without stopping at his place first. Fruits punch and sup tulang (bone soup) is what they usually served us whenever we are there, I must tell you that SUP TULANG (mutton bone soup that is) is a MUST eat dishes when you visit Singapore...orang Singapore bilang sedap sehh…tak da lak photo..kalo ada sure dah meleleh air liur…haha..

After taking lunch and rest all of us decide to go to Orchard road and to make this trip more fun, we are taking a bus to town. Lucky that little boy is not fussy and ever ready to go, all 11 of us headed straight to a bus station which takes us 5 minutes walking distance. Lucky that we were at earliest station so there’s a lot of seat and we were at the upper deck to see the city in better view.. sebenornye tak penah naik bas 2 tingkat so of course le ..pi naik keatas terus.. heheh.. the sesi bergambar aksi2 nok bermula..

First we went to hard rock café to buy some merchandise and then walk to Takashimaya where I need to purchase a Louis Vuitton bag for a friend.

Not taking long we already at LV’s boutique, I was surveying the bags and no body bothering asking if we need any assistance until I call for the SA to assist taking the bag I wanted, the Damier Canvas Speedy 30 edition. They must be busy as the shop is full with people, like you were in Vincci shop back in KL so after trying the bag, I ask for another one which was in display, the Monogram Canvas Neverfull GM edition, my view if I were to invest my money into I would purchase the Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas Speedy 30 edition as it looks formal and also casual at the same time. After paying, I did a sneak peak at the wallet and the wristlet and make my self a wish list haha.. I don’t know what year I will ever get it, but it is now in my list.

We went around the shop in Takashimaya and there was a children fair at the ground floor, I wonder when does this store does not have any children fair. There always be one, Singaporean are so lucky as they able to buy stuffs at discount price so often.

This time there were selling all kinds of children apparel to toys/ there you go little boy going ecstatic and looking out for his toy car. Since we have allocate some money for little boy needs, we decide to buy him a good and well spent money on toys product.

Soon after that we headed back to bus station which takes us a very long walk up and down the streets and the bus was so crowded by this time none of the 11 people are as excited and as happy as the going part…haha.. we arrived home nearly to 7PM.

We heard that there is on- going sale on Crocs product(the hottest footwear) at the Singapore Expo and I am the only one who seems interested to go besides our singapore relatives Wawa, Idris and the fiancé Linda.

We had dinner; the SUP TULANG was a finger licking good, everyone seems to enjoy every bit of it I see except for "mama lia" who does'nt take mutton. My little boy is a very hard to please person when it comes to eating section, we usually fit him with fruits when he refuse to eat hard food. That’s another story I will tell you some other time.

Back to the Crocs sale, I am eager but contemplating on going as every one is still taking dinner and all of sudden hubby decides to go ahead. We managed to arrive at the place 10mins to 8PM and were running like mad to the expo hall no.4 which was right at the end of building, and see like 50 people queuing to enter the hall. Not to waste time and effort coming down all the way we joined the queue and manage to go in. I managed to grab a few crocs on my hands, we need to pass everything we want to another relative who is already on queue to pay she has like 5 people ahead of her. It was crazy time as we wanted to go around selecting things at the same time must be hurry to pass to her otherwise we have to queue for another 2 hours looking at it. I must confess here that sales in Singapore are really worth the money.
Crocs footwear for men & women at SDG20 each, children shoe at SGD25, children Tshirts 3 pairs at SGD9, socks 4pairs at SGD5, 2 caps at SGD5 . Crazy discounts that after convert to RM we still feel it is worth buying.

This is not the end of our trip yet, we have not gone to Mustafa Centre.

Before going there we must follow my uncle to send Idris (affectionately known as "dedes") to Changi airport, dedes is going to Morocco for a business trip. The departure time is 2PM be at airport by 12PM so by 11ish we were already at airport. At that time other children may already asleep, my little boy is still jumping, running up and down at the waiting hall.

By the time we arrived at Mustafa little boy already snooze away in the car, hubby have to look after him and I go look for the perfume. You know we still awake at 2AM in the morning shopping. The last trip I had to Mustafa was in April this year, that time I bought a watch (Guess) and a perfume as well.

We arrived back at Johor Bahru at 4am in morning, clean up and doze by half and hour later. There you go another day has gone hectically but fun.

THE NEEDED REST & VACATION..

Date: 14 November 2008 - 16 November 2008

DAY 1

A rest in a vacation -- that is almost impossible when you have such a hectic schedule for travelling, finding places, pack and unpack the bags and having 1 little boy clinging with you. TIRING but FUN haha..that is the best to describe our visit to Johor & Singapore during the weekends.

We left KL to Johor at almost close to 12PM that was when we really on the road, on the highway Sg Besi leads to Seremban and so on..

we had 1 stop over at PAGOH for approx. 25-30 minutes for cup of coffee and some kueh pau.. and drive right thru to Johor Bahru..we arrived at the Cyrstal Crown where we meet up my MIL - she was waiting for us and Liz has gone out to do her work stuffs. that was around 4 ish.

As little boy needed his haircut we went down to seach for barber shop but to find none at the area. It was raining cats and dogs when we reach the food stall, so we eat first lah while waiting for rain to at least slowdown for us to find a decent hair dresser..biasa le suma kedai rambut cina tak da nyer kedai barber india yg biasa kita tengok kat KL tu.. we found one so we just go in and get a hair cut for little boy lucky it just cost me rm6, for my hair to wash and blow cost RM23 mahal gile KL baru RM15-16 ..renti kan aje le nak cuci ..KL lagi murah haha..berkira gile.. and the rain started to go heavy and heavier after that..sampai kat hotel dah lencun...haha..

We wanted to get some glimpse of Johor Bahru but we were all very tired after mengharung hujan lebat tadi..so we lepak at the hotel room and waited for Magrib prayer and leave to Danga Bay after that. Danga Bay.. hampeh.. haha.. tu je aku leh cakap..

after the boring experience at danga bay we look out for place to eat, it is recommended by people in Johor to eat steamboat food when you in town, so we go find and found one..

i did not get the name of the place where we eat.. but in KL you can find this kind of steamboat food scatter around at Jln Masjid India behind the kedai kain that use some kind of wheels to carry the food and normally operates illegaly by indonesian fella i think there are some locals, which is very dirty and not hygenic, this place we eat in Johor is clean and well oragnise stall, food wise is average for me as i m not an eater person, so i just eat for the sake of eating..

As you can see, there are many kinds of meet balls, fish balls, mushrooms, vegetables where it is put in a stick, after you've select the meet it will be deep in a soup and serve with a sauce.

after eating, we have to search for my husband's cousin place as we are crashing there for the next 2 nights - the place is called Mutiara Rini, Bandar Johor Bahru. Jai & Ijal, both are the nicest person i've known and best hostess .. she is the chatterbox of the house, a place will be more merrier when you have her around.. seriously.. we arrive around 10ish at night, unpack the bags, settle the bed and catching up on stories with the hostess ..by the time everything is settled it was close to 1am in morning, there you go one day has gone dengan jaya nya.. penat gile..

DAY 2

kita bersiap2 nak pegi singapore, after breakfast. by around 11ish liz and MIL arrived at the cousin's place. so we start the journey soon after.
